Hi Everyone
I just got the M55 today and had a couple of questions :-
1) Does anyone notice the display is "yellowish" it looks that way compared to my bro's Kyocera 424? Is this common to all M55's or is there something amiss with mine?
2) I was reading that people unlocked their phones with a data cable (from Pac Mall) - I was wondering if someone could please explain this to me as I want to get a data cable to move stuff off my comp anyway (didn't realize this one lacked the S55's IR port)

Try playing with the Illumination and Contrast settings...and also peel the protective film sticker as that could cause some electromagnetic static according to the manual...

Check out www.siemens-java.com for the M55 Unlock program...it's pretty straight forward...just connect your phone with it powered off, run M55 Unlock and click on "Unlock" and then power on the phone...

Thanks - I went to the site you mentioned and there's a lot of good stuff... The yellow just doesn't seem to go off the screen - I am going to go see Fido tomorrow.

Nope - stupid cow Fido would never do that... I read that the cable can be had at Pacific Mall and am going to pick that up.

haha even if u have hookups @ fido they still wont give you a data cable

my friends friend works there, gave me the leather case, car charger etc etc i asked if i could trade all of it for a data cable hes like no...

meh u get the phone for 5.73 anyways so no complaints here
