How come this brand has completely dropped off the radar? Looking at the OT735, it's a lot cheaper than comparable camera phones but the only reviews i find on the web seem to be from Russian sites. Quality of Alcatel phones seems to be very high. I bought my dad a dirt cheap OT311 a couple years ago and the thing is still like-new. Battery life is good, reception and voice clarity are fantastic, ringer is loud, vibration is strong. Meanwhile I have gone through 3 Sony Ericsson phones that had all kinds of problems.

. I kept that phone for more than 2 years and it never gave me a problem.

I agee with you hkriffraff, Alcatel phone are very high quality. I was considering buying the 735 but I got a killer deal on my current phone.

I've since given that 311 to my mother. My girlfriend, no matter how much I try and convince her to get a new phone, is still hanging on the her 311. Two of my friends also own 311's and none of them have had any complaints about the phone.

but i know there are quite a lot of alcatel fans in hk
