hey

im postin becuz im bout to getta phone for tha new years and im decidin on one of these from Verizonwireless....i need pros and cons of both

appearance is kinda important but one of tha most is ringtones...when sum1 calls i want it to stand out,and readin at verizon it said tha LG phone has polyphonic ringtones and tha audiovox didnt say anythang about it,and listenin to em i kno that polyphonic ones sound good....

so list sum info on tha ringtones and games,and overall how easy tha phone is to use,this my first cell phone so i want it to be good,thnx for any help

Well, my wife and I have both of these phones, I personally like the LG a little better, Easier to function...8900 has speaker phone, but you can mod the lg to do that also...Go with the LG

How could I mod the LG to have speaker phone....I prefer the LG as well but want speaker phone capability...is it easy to do ?

The 8900 also has polyphonic ringtones and you can use mp3 files too. If you want a phone that you can use in analog areas then you'll want the 8900 being that it's a tri-mode and the lg is digital only.
