Question for all CDM-8600 owners! This is my new phone that I have bought two weeks ago, but I have learned to like it. There is a problem though. I'm use with any land phone(and cell phone) to hear my own voice in the earpiece speaker. This is a normal behavior with any phone to have an echo distributed in the earpiece since it is helping us to speak at a convenient "level". But the CDM-8600 seem to be unique and I just can't hear my own voice. I would like to know if everybody got this issue or maybe I got a buggy phone.

Let me know!

This seems to be a problem on alot fo new phones that are coming out. at least on verizons network. I seen complains on this on the samsung a530 as well so maybe its soemthing they are jsut eliminating. I too have noticed this on my 8600 and a couple times thought i'd drop a call but oh well i'll learning to deal with it

why would u want to hear your owm voice ...i odnt know if it is just me but it used to do that on old cell phones like way back in tha day...and it sucked because it would just echo and it made it harder to hear the person who you are on the phone with.....the audiovox as well as landline phones all have the special echo reduction feature so that it doesnt sound like **** when you are talking on it
