i follow the directions perfectly...is there some way that i can program the damn number without it rebooting??? HELP

It has to reboot after programming but it wont save unless the battery is fully charged

I tried to do the same. I got into the backdoor menu, but when I tried to modify or make a selection after entering a code, it just rebooted

What do I need to do?
Am I using the wrong code (868666)?
Is there something I need to know before I continue?

Try 000000 instead of the code they gave you. That worked for me when my phone kept shutting off while programming it.
