I know my phone's lock code/programming code, and I'm just wondering, what can I do with it?

you can reporgram your phone.... make a game out of it, see how many times you can program it in five minutes and then try to beat your best record.

If you know your lock code, how do you go into the menu to actually enter it? (specifically for the AV8600) Not that I want to do anything to screw up my phone, but how do you go about getting into the programming features?

Not much, unless you want to disconnect your phone from the Bell network. If you
don't (and I'm assuming you don't) then all you can do with it is keep it so you can
unlock it in the event you want to switch providers. In the meantime you can have fun telling people that you know your unlocking code!
