can someone tell me how do i upload the pictures from my phone to my pc??? or what software i can use??? I've tried using the edit tool software... but when i click on the data icon nothing happens.

anyone here know how to check what the firmware is on the phone? i have a GD88 but the firmware i got are for GD87 is it compatible????? i plan on flashing the phone. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx

Press *#9999#, and hold.

After turning on phone, when it is searching for network.

It will display phones info:

Look for A22, A38, A39, A53 in the info, this will tell you what firmware it is...

try turning off all the security locks on the phone....pin, phonelock. once you do this, turn off your phone. turn it back on...when it says "searching for signal" type *#9999# hold the last # until it shows the firmware version. this should work.

When I do that all I get is "Quiet Mode On/Off"

Got to do it just after phone powers back on, and while it is searching for network...

It works, just a little tricky sometimes, you'll get it..

Remember to hold the last #

AznSpdDmn: when you are using the Edit tool software and want to transfer the pics to your pc, all of the pictures have to be in the "recieved" folder. If they are in any other folder the program will not recognize them. when you transfer from pc to phone, it will go into the "recieved" folder as well.
