Is there something I'm doin wrong? My callerid external callerid doesn't show the names of the incoming phone numbers coming in. With all numbers, including those in my phone book, it just shows the number. Is there someway I can do something so the names of those in my phone book will appear on the external callerid?

I had the exact same problem.

I found out that you need to enter the persons entire phone number WITHOUT the 1 in front of the area code in order for the assigned photo and the name listed in your phone book to appear on the outer screen.

Try it! It worked for me! : )

This may be a 'dumb' question but .....
if we do Not enter a 1 in front of the area code when entering #'s in the phone book, and we travel a few states away ... and use the phone book to make a call, the call 'should' still go thru without the "1", right ?

Example -

phonebook ph # with an Ohio area code
330-555-1212

if I use the phone book while in California, the call should go thru using the phone book Without using a "1" ?
