VM - Slider users - Caution!

Just a word to the wise for the Virgin Mobile slider users. DO NOT reset the web browser. This makes the up.link b settings disappear. (as well as up.link a's but we can reenter those.) I don't know if anyone has the security code to edit up.link b's properties.

If anyone has the code, could you hook me up? It'd be nice to get up.link b working again.

I am still pondering the thought of calling VM, but alas, I have read that their customer service blows.

Wirelessly posted (SE47/1.0.00 UP.Browser/4.1.26l UP.Link/5.0.2.9)

they have the best customer support of any company i know of, i don't know where you read that.s o, 868666 doesn't work?

Neither 868666 or 040793 works. It dosen't show the up.link b settings. Just Up.link A and Reset Browser.

I read about virgin being crappy from a couple different forums. I'll give them a try sometime though. Who knows, maybe I'll get a different security code from them?

what are you not able to do without the up link b setting

Its not what we can't do. Its the fact that it is gone and we can't put new IP numbers in. We can't easily switch the browser between Up.link A or Up.link B (IE, we can't use two different web servers)

One you do a browser reset, that it, its gone. You allways have to use up.link A.

That is, it will be gone untill we get the security code to edit it.
