H2 IR Sync S56?

Can you sync phone book entries from WinMobile2003 ‘Contacts’ to the S56 via IR? My Toshiba e750 recognizes it's communicating with a Siemens S56, and the S56 shows it's sensing an IR xmsn, but that’s all that happens. I presume one device or the other has to push/pull the info, but I can’t figure out how. The manual shows this is done under Extras > Remote Sync, but when I try that I get a message No active profile!

I’ve searched the manual for other profile settings but find no reference except for the environmental profiles (normal, noisy, car, etc.) but I don’t think those are related and I can find nothing in their configuration that pertains.

Any clues?
