I would appreciate any input....

Recieved the P900 yesterday, took out my SIM card from my 'old' P800 and plugged it in. Charged the battery, and inserted the Memory Stick that came with the phone. The phone powers on just fine, asks me to pick the phone/flight mode, but it gets stuck when the Sony/Ericsson logo comes up on the screen and it just hangs there. I can't get to applications or anywhere. Tried resetting, but it doesn't help. Can't connect to the PC Suite or upgrade the firmware either.

Please help. Thanks.

I had that problem repeately on my P800, it was later classified "defective" after repeated firmware flashes. I would return the phone or another one

I'm so pissed off. Just got a new phone from Expansys, and getting the same freakin' problem. Could it be something with my SIM card, which works perfectly well in my p800? The phone just hangs on the Sony Ericsson startup screen.
