I just bought a slider for use on Virgin Mobile. Does anybody know if there is a code, etc. to see signal data, etc. like on the VOX and NOKIA phones? I am curious what kind of signal strength I am getting compared to the VOX. Also I tried the Free Web thing but no dice, anybody else getting the lastest version of the phone having any success? Thanks...

Wirelessly posted (SE47/1.0.00 UP.Browser/4.1.26l UP.Link/5.0.2.9)

The only thing i can think of is to erase the "www" from the url

what do yoi mean by signal strenth data? just the little bars, or something more complicated?

I would have to say more complicated even though it is not...if that even makes sense. On a NOKIA and on the VOX you could punch in a code, etc into the phone to put it in to a "field test" mode so that you could see the measurement (decibels) of your signal not the bars. It is more accurate than the bars. You could have 2 different phones (not the same model) and the amount or lack of bars would mean a different decibel reading. Also from this mode you could see what sid or tower you were using, what frequency you are using, etc.
