(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

This is a thread for you guys to post pictures taken with your P800 or P900 camera phone. It can be anything, not just something phone related.

So as the ringmaster says, "lets get this show on the road!"

Sincerely,
safari12

can't keep the peace without my piece.

i love the grainy quality of the p900 camera. such a primitive feel, you know?

Posted by: shockdaddyd

so many p800 and p900 phones in people's hands but no phone photos...what gives?

jump in folks, the water's warm...

Here is a picture of my daughter (left) and her two friends on a recent school field trip. That I was "volunteered" to chaperon.

This isn't a pic taken with a P900 but I could resist seeing it's winter and the last couple of posts were about cars...

Uch, aren't we cute? A pic of my gf and I this evening, messing about with the P900. I'm really finding that in low light conditions the camera seems shockingly bad, alas - I didn't buy it to replace a digital camera!

Cheers

Here is my wife's WRX

I don't know but my p900 can't take good pictures! Why??!

320x240 always look better then 640x480!

2 pics -made with a P800- from a x-mas circus in Amsterdam today

I like it when the animals turn on the ring leaders and bite them. LOL. Animals shouldn't be locked up like that.

Could it be that the P800/900's actually has a 320x240 CCD and interpolates (scales) the picture to 640x480?

I've always have felt that we where cheated to think that we have a 640x480 digicam in our P800/900 when in fact that's not true!

Go ahead and buy one of those inexpensive Pencams at walmart and the images look exactly like the P800/900's and they actually state in their manuals that the images are scaled from 320x240 to 640x480 (or even 1024x768)!!!

Another clue is that at 640x480 you tend to see small lines at vertical angles (i.e. take a picture of a door, corner, frame, etc. and see their vertical contours and see what I mean.) see zedd's picture #9 and notice the left and right side of the hood where the sun shines, the defect is clearly visible!

NOTE: This does not apply to T68i Digital Camera, which in fact takes better pictures than those from P800/900!

One more experiment:

Take a picture with your P800/900 at 320x240 resolution, transfer that picture to your PC and fire up Photoshop (or similar program) and scale the picture to 640x480... VOILA! you get much better results that the "native" P800/900 640x480 resolution!!!

(sorry for my bad english, I'm mexican )

That's some good observation Rayan

This just made me :laughs:

Walking around and ran into this beauty. Was on my Christmas list but Santa only delivered a Sony 50in. LCD Monitor HDTV.... So I guess I'll just have to live with it until next year.
