I tried to update my software to .04 and everything went to plan until it went to reset the phone. "Error #18" popped up and now all my phone does is flash blue. Basically resetting itself. I've tried to reset from the toolbar.... No Luck. Tried to take the battery out and reset it that way... No Luck. What do I do? Please don't say take it to a service center. There isn't one open till Monday.

It wouldn't let me write an old codeplug in carrier rss or superagent. Superagent said it could not connect to my phone, then iDen Update said it couldn't find my phone either. What to do?

DAMNIT!!!!! I did not want to do that at all. Any idea why this has happened? I may just see if I can't swap it out.

Where u using a modded i90/95 cable ??

I had the same **** happen to me soon as the phone reset went into the /\/\ version of the BSOD.

I went into flashtrip NP tryed to update again with no luck said it was already at 04. so i tryed to write the old code plug with no luck. Then i proceded to throw the phone around the house hoping that might fix it

Next day walked into the service center swaped got new cable been fine since.

How else would I upgrade my software? That's all I've ever used.

Anyway thanx for all the replies. I'm just gonna pray my store gets one in tomorrow and swap it out.

The best way to upgrade is to use the standalone upgrade utility that's readily available on HoFo.

More Reliable than IU(Iden Update) and it's without the internet connection.

That's what you should always use. Iden Update is worthless.

Yeah I found the thread but it wouldn't let me log in since I don't have a username/password. I'm not sweatin it. I'll figure something out. I just hate I have to wait till tomorrow to try and do anything. Anyway, once again thanx for your help fellas!

I was always told 24 hours before NSP would become active. Has that time been shortened come lately?

haha...me and matt suffered through this when the last upgrade came out....verrrry frustrating!!!!

if you have a backup phone use it for the time being, i'm sure a CUU will be around here in a few days. Put the phone in flashstrap via the softkeys at powerup and the CUU will fix your phone's software.
