so far there r few cons i dun like, hopefully can be improved:

1. SMS sent and save in outbox, shd be able to change the sorting, so weird sort by the msg first alphabet, who bother? i want to sort by send time!
2. When typing sms half way, always accidentally press the hang up key than clear key, then sms gone, they must set it to save in outbox ma... stupid
3. when adding contacts from groups, must scroll one by one down all the way, 100+ contacts ler, shd learn nokia, press the first char shd go the the particular contact
4. must be in receive object mode in order to do file push, kinda stupid
5. low light condition the camera take extremely bad quality pic, so many blue line
6. the size of pic taken still same as GD88, so small, look nice in phone but not pc okie?
7. sms T9 system, if the word not in, dun hv spell option nor insert user own word

maybe more coming, but, i still luv this phone!

5) Won't using the built-in flash take care of this problem?

6) BOO!!!! This was one of my biggest complaints about the GD. I really hoped they would improve the camera, but it looks like they used the same one.

7) Wow. I really thought they would improve all the little problems that the GD had, but it looks like Panasonic just took the GD and stuffed it into a new case and added a few additional features.

You can add your own words to the T9 system. I have been doing since my first GD92. If T9 not recognise the word u want. you write it in the abc mode, switch to T9 and then put the space to go onto the next word. After that T9 should recognise the word in future. I have to admit this feature has never been documented in the manual. But i did notice it mentioned v briefly in the pdf manual for my X70

this is really....

no wonder recently i found that those words i can't use b4, now available in T9... but, who will know!? feel like to kick panasonic, nvr write in manual also...

not to dump any more problems in anyones lap but... my nokia 8210e had a little problem where it would occasionally reset conpletely just as i was sending a message, and when it came back on all the words i had taught it had been erased from the dictionary, and my X70 has just started doing the same thing.

nokia software programmers on the panasonic team?

give me a break!

i hope it's just a one-off.

Yeah, x71+ will use an entirely different code base. So only new problems in future models

recently just found that, after pic taken, i view in data folders, the pic view is limited to top part of the pic ONLY. the up and down button is to go prev/next pic where it doesn't make sense i can't view the pic in full!??

i remember GD88 that, the up n down is to scroll pic so that u can view remaining bottom part, how come in x70 become worse? weird...
