Bitpim & LG VX6000 help

I am comming from a VX4000 and now using a VX6000.
I cannot get the the 6000 to work with bitpim! The phone numbers will transfer but on wallpaper and ringers I get the following:

An unexpected exception has occurred.
Please see the help for details on what to do.

you need to get the bitpim that is made for the vx6000

I have the same problem, and I have the correct bitpm installed.
I've been messing with this for about 1 hour now.

I wonder if this has anything to do with firmware versions. I know mines outdated

you need to get bitpim 0.62... it's made specifically for the vx6000. i happened to get my hands on it because a friend ordered a cable from this company that was gracious enough to give gagin, bitpim, and a bunch of other progs on a CD. I'd upload you a copy, but it's 3.5 MB in size.

Thanks yea i found a copy of it and it works just fine and like like the fact that it allows me to see the file sys its a great program thanks
