i have a kyocera KE424C blade phone and im wondering if u can download ringtones, wallpapers, pictures, etc. if u know how to do any of this please help me. Thanks

You have to buy a datacable kit to upload things such as that I do believe.

You can upload ringtones with the data cable, but I haven't seen any option to upload images. If anyone knows how to upload images to a Blade/Phantom/Rave model, I'd be interested to know how. Also, if you find a cheap data cable, let me know because I am looking for one as well.

If its suported on the phone then with 3rd party software & a datacable sure.

Before I sign up for SureWest I thought I'd check out this Forum and see if there are any landmines awaiting me. I don't want to get a 2-year contract for a crappy service. But maybe they're good.

Anyone know if SureWest provides a good service in the Sacramento/Elk Grove CA area?

try this, i am not sure if your provider has it locked up so u cant , but check it out my provider has all phones locked up accept the blade i am thinking maybe they cant with the blade? try this:

not so, add data connectivity to your account, setup the WAP browser with your choice of WAP settings and get ringers, wallpapers, ect from any wap site of your choice, I'm also on Surewest as I've been for 4 years now, I have a Motorola T720, have WAP and BREW setup on my phone. Surewest recently upgraded to a 1X network as well.

As far as I know, telus blocks all downloads that don't come from them... so they force you to pay. Its not the phone but the gateway. So people with other providers can download and be happy.... we can't.

To upload ringers you need a different piece of software, but I can't remember the name or site right now (just spent 15 min. looking for it) so, if nobody else posts it before I can find it, I will post it later.
