Questions Concerning K7 Rave

I recently purchased a K7 Rave and so far I enjoy the phone. Now I've been reading threads in this forum for a while now and I just had a few questions concerning some things.
1. Is it possible to browse and download ringtones for the K7 Rave without paying any fees?
2. Referring to question 1. If so how would I go about doing that without buying a data cable and such.
3. What is WAP and what is the purpose of changing all the info that I've read people are doing?
