Originally posted by strobexii I tried using lowercase letters, unfortunately that didn't help for me. As for .jpg's, I would use them, but I'm hoping to get a wallpaper that doesn't have the white bars along the top and bottom. |

Originally posted by cg924 yeah default is 120 x 160. however only 120 x 131 is viewable. so when you send a 120 x 160 image to your phone, it crops it and has an annoying white space on the top and bottom of the image. Here is a sample. ![]() the image is 120 x 160 but the part labled "not visible" does not show up. the picture of heidi is 120 x 131 and looks great on my phone. |

Originally posted by jUnknown_One Try this. . When you get the pic save it but don't name it(it will be untitled#) Then go to my media and see if its there. You can rename it after. BTW use .bmp or .png Only these 2 formats are capable of no white bar wallpapers(pretty sure) Let me know how it goes |
| I can't not give it a name. I always get an error when I try that. |

Originally posted by jUnknown_One If you keep on doing it, i think it will work (The numbers will go up) BTW I have about 20 wallpapers on my phone with no white bars and all sent through yahoo. |
Originally posted by d0tn ![]() This image worked perfect for me, no white bars or anything. I sent it to myphonenumber@vzwpix.com. I sent it through microsoft outlook from my email address. I then saved the image into my media (as a image) and then went to my media, found it, opened it, and set it as my wallpaper. Do it with that image, the exact way I described it and tell me if it works! |

| There is also a problem deleting the files (file name remains but screen is blank). I think that Mike is correct and BitPim is the most reliable way to add BMP files. |

Originally posted by et phone home I tried sending a .bmp of a 120X160 wallpaper to my phone through vzwpix.com. I received the picture fine and saw it, but after saving it it was a blank white image. Renamed it, etc. STILL blank. Haven't deleted all of my other wallpaper and don't have a data cable yet. Was wondering if anyone who had this problem and now has success if they can explain what they did, and how to do it WITHOUT the white borders! Thanks! |
