Possible Solution to unlock Nec 525

I am thinking, will it work if I clone 2 SIM cards into a Multi-Sim card. One being ATTWS Sim card and another from any other GSM carrier. Use the ATTWS Sim info to boot up the phone and then switch to another SIM to make and receive phone calls. I know this is not really unlocking the phone....but if it works, we can simply clone an expired ATTWS sim to an mulit-SIM chip and use the phone.
I love the phone so much cuz its the closest thing we have to a Japanese styled phone, not able to unlock it is really a pain in the aXX!!
