I just got this, and I'm doing exactly what everyone is saying to do, but It does nothing when I highlight it and push send. Does anyone have any suggestions?? I got the phone specifically because of this option but its not working. Are there any other ways to access wap?? I cannot get the waptunnel IP to work in the browser settings menu. Please HELP!!!!!!

are you with bell? it might be due to the fact that it's a new activation. i would call your CS to find out if your browser is activated or not. My phone prompts me each time i go online, saying "airtime fees apply for browser use" - that's what i see every time i hit send on one of my contacts.

I'm with virgin, and my xtra's are working. But when I try to use the waptunnel IP i just get a network error

but it is a 2 hour old activation, I hope they didn't change the software on this one, like they did with the " VOX" 8500

Same thing happened with my sisters Slider phone, I thought it might be cause it was a new activation as well....... but whaddyagonado?

Whats your slyder software version?? ( In Phone Info Menu??) Could anyone who can get the url/Contact trick reply , so I know if its my software, or just the new activation??

My Slider works with the contacts trick and I've got software ver. NU1.0.00

Well, this REALLY stinks!!!!!!!!!!! My software is nu1.0.10, Looks like they changed the software, and I waisted my money. The only reason I got this was for the wap access. The tech guy I talked to last night told me that the software was the same on every VM slyder out there. If anyone knows how to access wap that has this version software , please let me know
