GD55 & other person hears an "echo"

Okay, the past few calls I made & received, the other person has said that they hear an annoying echo, on their end.
Now, is this something to do w/ the GD55, or for that matter any Panasonic phones?
I know I've heard this "echo" using other cell phones, but the people on the other end are saying the echo is really annoying.
Just want to know if this is something I should be concerned about w/ the GD55 or any Panasonic phone.

The echo, usually exists when your using the hands free option. You may need to lower your volume when using this option.
Other than that, my GD 55 is Great!
