can any of you change the ringtones on the slider? i'm not talking about new ones, im talking about the preloaded ones. no matter what I do, it is stuck on the first one. i've tried EVERYTHING

Hmm i seem to be able to change mine. So are you saying that if you highlight a different one/scroll down to a different one, and press ok, it doesn't set that one as your Ringer Type? On mine, when i highlight a ringer and hit "ok" then the circle is filled in and the new ringer becomes my new ringtone.

it sets it for me, like the circle is filled. it just doesn't play it. and it plays the worst ringtone

Well the only thing i can think of is that perhaps you've got that worst ringtone assigned to your contacts? Aside from that I am not sure, it may be that the phone is defective if you haven't assigned any ringers to your contacts individually or as a group (personal/business).
