Anybody using a Sharp GX2x phone experience this?
It power's off suddenly. Happened 4 times already since I bought the phone 1 month ago. I am still unable to duplicate the problem after presistently trying.
How it happens? Put in my pocket, do my stuff, walk around, when I want o use my phone, all of a sudden, its already off. Baterry levels is full.
Any ideas?

Same for me on my GX-22 -- but same as you, can't reproduce it. Just sometimes happens, or once it happened while i was talking with someone.
Oh well, next firmware will fix it i am sure.

This can happen on phones when their batteries have been overcharged. Did you guys run the battery all the way down, charge it all the way back up and repeat? I caused a Siemens SL56 and Nokia 3650 to both power off randomly by doing this because I thought you were supposed to.

sorry i don't quite understand. you mean are we supposed to do that or NOT to do that to prevent auto power off?

I have been taking care of my batteries. I only recharge the batteries after it runs out of charge, i.e. 0 battery bar on the indicator. Then charge overnight. I've been doing this is all my previous phones and didn't find any problems.
Anyway, I maybe mangaed to duplicate the problem, try pressing your phone around the microphone or flexing the phone a bit, sometime this will reset the phone, sometimes it will power down.
Can do it consistently though....

I would recommend not charging your battery all the way up and then all the way down. With the older generations of batteries you were supposed to do this to make your battery last longer, but with these new ones that can result in overcharging your battery.
