Maybe you could do film requests.

I have had sucess with some encoding but really it depends on the material size & quality so a standard setting isn't always best. The truth is that the P8/900 just ain't powerful enough yet as say a Pocket PC. Maybe we will get MS Pro support.

As far as getting the sound for that SE Ad to play on the Philips P800 Camcorder app, you only need to encode the audio in 3gpp AMR codex (not AAC)

how do I do that if I'm encoding using mpegable

What will really be great is after I post the Tutorial everyone will be making their own movies with this kind of quality

I might do a Mp4 movie as a request for a friend but otherwise it would be illegal to do more... that's why I only post Trailers (that I've converted) in the forum.

This world has it so screwed up where we can now buy such wonderful devises to play these Mp4 movies on and at the same time you can't buy the movies (professionally done) anywhere even if you are willing to pay for them. But try and share a Mp4 (copied by your own hard work) and that's Illegal. Kind of ticks you off

See this is exactly why I want to put a Tutorial out... if I tell you to select the 3gpp codex under the interoperability tab, will you understand what I mean? And there are further settings under that category (AMR-NB and AMR-WB) that will further vary the audio quality in your finished file. I don't want to start this "what do I do next" syndrome without at least having the Tutorial to reference to first.

So please hang in there and I'll hopefully have put together something that will guide you (and everyone else) to what you want to achieve...BTW you can always play around for yourself in the mean time, I'm not stopping you...That's how I learned how to do it!

i dont get it. was the website suppose to show u the settings of how to make movies with ur settings. i thought in the make movies sections i was suppose to view the videos and then the subtitles would tell u how to make ur movies. can i suggest this idea for ur movie settings tutorial? hehe

Nice Music video RobinBobin... Thanx for sharing that.

I am experiencing a problem when I play your MP4 on the P900 though. The audio is out of sync with the video... very strange because if I play it on my computer with the Mpegable Player it's just fine. I'll have to look in this one further.
