Which one is better and what are the best settings?
And why do thay never look as good as the golf mp4.

Mp4s will usually have better sound (encoded in AAC and can be stereo). When we talk about 3gpp files we are usually referring to a Mp4 that is encoded with a lower quality sound (AMR in mono only). It gets confusing because 3gpp is based on Mp4 technology and in turn they are both built on Ouicktime architecture.
