I tried upgrading the software on my friend's i90. During the software upgrade the IDEN Update Application Crashed. This was the first time this problem has happened, and I did more then 2 dozen upgrades in the past.

After the program crashed, the phone didn't do anything. I tried to restore the backed up software, but that didn't work. Everytime the phone turns on now, nothing shows on the screen, and then after a few seconds it says "Self Check Failed."

Is there anyway to use this phone again or to fix the problem?

Yes.

Add NSP250, take it to a service center for a swap.

What if the housing on the phone was changed?

if you have the original housing, change it back. Let whoever is changing it to do a good job cause you are taking it back to a service center. That should work.

Do a search for CUU-Combined Utility Upgrade. That should fix your phone.

I have searched in different places, and I can't find any Combined Upgrade Utility to download.

I downloaded the CUU for i90, but when I try to run the exe file in windows xp, it doesn't work.

A few ppl mentioned "CUU" but noone told me how to do it.
