Please Help, Just Got Cable For Vx6000

Hi, Im a new user of the vx6000. I ordered the Cable from ebay and im using BitPM. Everytime, I try to transfer ringtones, it keeps giving me the ERROR: The phone is not responding while transitioning mode from none to brew. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP AND POST SOME POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS. THANK YOU

Can someone find a solution to this problem please? Bitpm finally works, but then I get that same error every single time I try to do anything! Please help!

Try rebooting the phone.
