I just started using my phone and I've put some new photos in as the wallpaper but haven't figured out how you get rid of the Verizon Wireless lettering. Can you help?

You get the "Verizon Wireless" banner because you have the America's Choice plan. It lets you know if you are using the Verizon network or someone else's network. Here at work it took us forever to figure that out! Those of us without the verizon wireless banner always made fun of the ones that had it...because they hated it having it...now that we know the reason though, it somehow is not as funny anymore...
