WinMoDo does not update icons

I have downloaded a custom made flash file (version A53) for my Vodafone GD87. The customised flash file has new icons which are a lot slicker than the current vodafone 2D ones. The only trouble is when I come to upload the new flash file via WinMoDo it does not update the icons; although it does update other aspects of the phone such as the volume slider image, radio buttons and the camera click sound.

Have Vodafone put a lock on thier images or something to prevent them being upgraded. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

New images. If only I could get them all on my phone

the vodaphone live version is locked. if you want install a custom bios, you must unlock eeprom and do a reset game.

Thanks for the info. I think it was your screen shots I used in my previous message, hope you dont mind.

I have tried the Unlock thing and I think because my phone version is A53 I am unable to unlock it. I dont really wanna risk downgrading the bios just in case I cant upgrade again or something goes wrong. I guess I'll just stick with the Vodafone logos. It's only a phone anyway, I dunno why I started looking into it really.

To unlock, you need to downgrade to A22 firmware.

Then you would have to run Crack2D over it (takes a couple of secs), this would remove locks, and unlock EEPROM.

Then upgrade back to A53 firmware...

I have had my phone unlocked at my local market, but i guess the unlock did not include the eeprom. I will try crack2d again and see how i get on.
