G50 Hallelujah ringtone??

My G50 did the weirdest thing a few nights ago.. I was talking on the phone and my call was dropped due to the lack of service. I started pressing the button under call a few times so it would call back the person that it just hung up on. Then all of a sudden, my phone starts ringing "hallelujah" really loud. It sounded really nice though- just like all the other ringtones already on the phone. ( i have the jay chow edition). I'm not dreaming though. it really happened. It was spooky. I don't even have that ringtone. I wish i did though. Did this happen to anyone else??

btw- how do i get ringtones?? i'm in NY with Tmobile. O and i also need a manual. .in English.. not Chinese

Same sorta stuff happened to my G50. Hallaluyah!!!! I don't even have it on my freakin phone. And it goes on forever until I take out the battery!

Help? this just happened a few days ago!

BUDDY, Same thing happen to me! I have the Jay Chow version to! I thought I was dreaming at first, but then it was real.. and I had to take the battery out to stop it from ringing.. Freaky..

It's freaked... is there such a thing as the y2k4 bug?
basically, can't use this phone no more.. I have to put it on silent?

one more thing.. the song can be stopped by going into the Melody composer... weird

Also I was wondering if you guys with the G50 notice a echo when you call.. and do you loose rf sometimes whent he phone is in your pocket??

I am having the same thing. It happened to me twice since I got the phone 2 weeks ago.

btw: I have tmobile but for some reason my phone says cingular on the screen and it has the roaming sign all the time. I brought it to the store and they said it's okay because cingular partners with tmobile and that i won't be charged with roaming. Does anyone has the same problem?

some people reported that if you change the date to 2003, the ringtone will go away

seems like this Y2K4 problem is occuring everywhere.. (at least 4 forums that i have read..)

Um any unlock phone you buy that is not sold here and use with T-mobile will say cingular if you are in the califorina- Las Vegas area ( I see you are from the bayarea so that includes you too) because T-mobile is using their towers. Of course it would have the roaming symbol........thats because it's a foreign made phone! Is this your first unlocked phone?
