futuredial drivers vx6000 help!

Big problem!! I have the LG VX6000, and I got the regular data cable for it thru RPI Wireless.
I really messed things up by not clicking ok thru the windows xp messages (three times), so I tried installing the Futuredial drivers to get it to work which was a mistake.
Now whenever I try to do an installation and hook up my cell, it comes up as Prolific USB-to-Serial Comm under the Device Manager>Ports (COM & LPT). I try to manually install the LG drivers I installed, but no matter what I do it asks for "ser2pl.sys" on USB-Serial Cable Diskette...
How do I completely remove the Futuredial drivers? I removed the folder in the Program Folders directory, but it seems like it's lingering somewhere in my Windows folder.
