HELP. Appt times off when syncing with Outlook

I just got my Samsung i600 and am trying to get everything synced. However when I sync with Outlook on my desktop, all appointment times are off by one hour. The times on i600 are 1 hours earlier than the correct time on desktop Outlook.
I'm sure this has something to do with daylight savings time. I have the box checked on desktop Outlook to indicate that I do observe daylight savings.
Oh, well at least I'll be early instead of late. Thanks for your help.

Have you checked to make sure the time zone on your comp and the phone are the same? this sounds like it could be a time zone issue to me.

Well now don't I feel like an idiot?
Somehow the phone was set on Central time zone. Changed to Eastern and now it's great.
thanks for your help. Unfortunately that may only be the first of many stupid questions I ask.
