M55 Java Games emulator for PC

Hi everyone.

I have downloaded some java games for my siemens m55, but I wonder if there is a software emulator for playing those games on PC?

I think that this emulator is very usefull for previewing before we put it on the Phone.

yes there is such an emulator

the site is in russian but its easy to figure out which files to get
first you need to install 'SMTK Core Pack 0.11.1.49' ( here is the link SMTK core pack )
then you install the emulator pack for the needed phone ( there are emulators for m55 s55 sl55 c55 m50 sl45i)
and make sure you got java virtual machine(at least 1.3) installed on you pc
Thats it pretty much

one last thing .........when you got the simulator runing press F9 to insert the sim card(you'll see what i mean )

Thank you very much for your information Slepia.

I try to download the software, but , wow.. what a big size file there. I have to wait about one and half hour for just 1 file.

I will tell you the result later, I hope it realy works

I can tell you for sure it works couse i have it installed on my pc .
Some of the games may crash down the simulator but most of them work fine and if they crash on your pc it doesnt mean they wont work on the phone

Hi Slepia,

When I Install M55_setup.exe, there is a message appear "Current user SMTK registry database is corrupted. Please contact your system administrator"??

Why did this happend, and please tell me how to fix it.

make sure you have java virtual machine installed and the version is at least 1.3 (1.4 is the latest i think)
may be try reisntaling the core pack
also if you have access to the administrator account try installing an runing alll the stuff trough it

After I restart my computer, then the software run smoothly.
I'm very satisfied with the emulator except for the crash.
