Contacts on T616 - last name first?

Okay...sorry for the dumb question, but I can't seem to figure out how to get the last name to display first in the contacts list on the T616 (Cingular, with R1B firmware)?

Do I actually have to enter the name "Doe" "," John", or is there a way to enter it on the name line as "John Doe", and have it display "Doe, John"? Like the way MS Outlook does?

My old T60d had separate lines for First Name and Last Name, but that doesn't seem to be the case with this phone.

Try This.......

Phonebook...Options... Synchronize View...By Last Name.

Might be what your after.

Thanks. I tried that, but it didn't do anything. Hopefully, it will make a difference when I do, in fact, sync this thing.

I've decided to go that route anyway, rather than reconstructing my phone list from the T60d manually.

Thanks for your help. I still wish the phone had separate entry spots for first and last name.
