I have the sl56 & the panasonic gu87....both with irda capabilities. i want to send the ringtones from the gu87 to my sl56 thru irda, does anyone know how to set the sl56 to receive data?

on the gu87 all i have to do is select "send via irda," but i dunno how to set the sl56 to receive the data/info. any help would be appreciated thx!

I know on the SL55 it's:

Menu -> Setup -> Connectivity -> IrDA

Exactly what he said......also you should see an icon on the top middle of your screen which kinda of looks like an eyeball once you've checked off the IrDA option.

if you wanted to send from your sl56 you can thanks to tabernac http://www.mythsoftware.com/s56/

I put this on my sl56 and now I can transfer pics and ringtones from sl56 irda to any other phone or computer
