Customizable "RINGTONE" for 8600.. very kewl

Figured it out.
Pretty cool.

For all of you who don't know what this is about, lets just say you can customize your own "ring".

Under MENU
VOICE SVC
VOICE ALERT
you can record your own message/ring.
then once it has been recorded, you can turn it ON.
and if you have your setting on RINGER ONLY, when the phone rings, it will playback this voice alert "ring".

However, even at its loudest setting, it's not loud enough.
Nice touch though and it would be cool if you left you phone on your desk and hear the ring same something like...

" ANSWER THE DAMNED PHONE... SUCKA.. "

Funny and kewl at the same time..

This also works for the 8500.

Just to let you know,
There is a volume control for this customized "ringtone"

Call yourself and when you hear your ringtone, use the up and down buttons on the side of the phone to change its volume.

Another great discovery by drinking too much..

Ringing volume of the customized ringtone is controlled the same way as the regular ringtones..

how does this override friend settings? if you have ringtones set for sriends, will it override that?
