Does the x70 have a calendar function? If it does, is it easy to use?

The X70 does indeed have a calender function. Though i've personally not used it as I use the calender function on my PDA.

it just provide very normal usage only, u can't even set ur own alarm time for meeting created, it's by default the start time of the meeting... so dun expect much on it.
