Ebay has a bunch of aftermarket SL55/56 batteries, some are extended 550 mAh. I'm wondering if you've bought an aftermarket battery, instead of OEM. How is it working on your phone? Any problems? Does it fit your SL55/56? Can you recommend a seller?

I've been checking around for OEM SL56 batteries, however they are like going for $40-70.....OUCH!!! Thats quite alot of money for a spare battery. I know I can buy a new OEM for $30, that's still much.

I haven't bought an aftermarket battery for any of my phones, just cuz I'm concerned if it will fry it.

Here's an aftermarket battery I'm looking at. I've found a buyer on this sellers feedback. I've emailed & asked how the battery is working out for him. It has a little more juice than an OEM battery. You think it should work okay, no problems????

I have bought several aftermarket batteries over the years and never had a problem with any of them. Worked as well or better than the oem battery. I haven't bought one for my SL56 yet, hopefully well get an answer on the one listed above.

I've got 2 batteries for a SL56 and they don't fit properly.
You gotta harsh cram it in to make it fit, and it always wants to pop out.
I got them from a seller based in Hong Kong, so the link posted from ebay may be from a US based seller may have better batteries.
