HELP needed SL55 Chinese Edition

doh: I screwed up my sl5c trying to flash it with sl55 software. Can someone read their flash on a sl5c and send it to me please. Any help on fixing this would be greatly appreciated!!

How did you get the sl5c to take sl55 v14!?

First I added an SL55 flash w/ Frieda8. After this I downloaded the v14 update from a GSM website and it took the update!

Took me all day to figure this out but now my sl5c acts like an sl55, much better now and the software is quicker with more features.

Enter that site, click Siemens then click Update.

When I ran that it said the firmware was not accepted by the phone

I guessed it was because it was a 5c and the firm was for 55...

Those are not for freia- they are separate programs.

Does anyone have the .fls for freia for sl55 (any version)?

Or can someone make a FUBU?

Thats because you still have the 5C software on there. You must flash your phone with Freia using 55 software first, like http://www.spunlock.biz/siem/SL55070404_service.rar

Then it will accept the updates from Siemens or the other site posted above.

Were you able to make this soft go onto an sl5c? I tried with the same program, set up for v14, from the site listed above and it did not take it- it said it was not accepted by the phone...

I just answered that question. You must FLASH your phone first with SL55 software using Freia, if you DO NOT DO THIS and then try to use the siemens self updater it will tell you it is the wrong software version because it is still recognizing that your phone is an sl5c. You must trick the software by flashing it first with an sl55 flash then you can update it. Is this clear? let me know!

Super clear. That is why I am looking for the sl55 (any version) flash for Freia! Anyone have the .fls file?
