Hi Hofo-ers,

We have a unique opportunity right now of having some live pix forwarded to me/us from member NateBlonde who is currently in Las Vegas at the winter CES (Consumer Electronics Show).

Some of the first pix he sent me is of a new BT Headset from Nextlink called the “Bluespoon 5 g”

It weights only 5 grams
Uses only one microphone (apparently not digital)
Dimensions are 3cm long x 1.7cm width.

I’ll continue to update this thread as long as he sends more pix and info. Please don't ask me anything more because I really don't know anymore than what I'm posting here. We'll all have to wait till Nate gets back from the show and then he can comment himself.

Ok guys,
Thank God for my P900. Using it to take some good photos
I just got back to the hotel room and and after all the fake boobs and gagets; I've still not had enough (the AVN is also going on at the same time) and I'm going back for more on Saturday. Tommorow (saturday) I will be back at CES and I'll be on the attack for any new developments on the UIQ (whatever that stands for) phones. Today I searched and searched for any other bluetooth headsets. Nothing out there came close to the Nextlink digital.
I met with Kim and Rune. It was nice to see the guys behind the products we use. As you know Nextlink isnt that big, it was nice to see that they knew who I was. I also brought them a little biz by my retail sources. If anyone has anything they think I should check on, please let me know asap and I will check the HoFo before leaving to the Show.

The pic of Lars next to the plasma screen has some cool detail to that picture.
The screen is the voice print of Mark's (Bengalboy) sound test of the bluespoon digital. The test we all listened to on HOFO. They used it to show people how well their product is.

Alot of people had bluetooth headsets at the show. I could have produced some pics of the many that were far inferior to the Nextlink product but nothing campared to the quality of the Bluespoon. So why waste the time with all the useless info on the other headsets.

I did take some pics of some nice UIQ phones that are MS based. Don will post those pics soon.

As of now the 5G will not be digital.
It will have the same software that is in the Chamleon.
Again, I repeat, its still on going testing and things still might change but for now, this is how they see it.

PDA pix ???... I'm sorry to tell you I didn't receive anymore pix from you... maybe you sent them to someone else?

Did you save your pix from the show... can't you just post them yourself now?

BTW That was really great receiving those images directly from you at CES (live). It’s nice to be putting our SE technology to use this way.
