VX4400 Closing Port

Everytime I go to transfer a file to my phone, be it a wallpaper or a ringtone the phone keeps closing the port on my phone. I set it to the RS-232C (COM Port) setting, and it likes to close it while BitPim is communicating with it. I am using BitPim 7 as it lets me use more COM ports than 1 and 2. My software version is TE4VZV10. I am running WinXP Home. I am using the FutureDial cable with the box on the cable. If anyone has any info on this please respond here or you can IM.
