basically i ran out of slots on my power bar.

so i added this little splitter thing at the bottom.

everything seems to be running fine.

on the splitter at the bottom i have router/speakers/keyboard receiver

is it more susceptible to power surges in anyway?
any other obvious complications?

or is it fine......?

thaaaannxxx.

...why don't you visit your local fire department with those pictures and see what they say.

lol@super

Bish why don't you get a bigger power bar with HIGHER surge protection.

btw i would put that on a slab of wood or a tile.

...but wood is flammable/combustible.

The fuse in that surge protector should be blown it can't handle it.

i picked up a surge protector with enough sockets earlier today, so its all good once more.

Stop buying electronics, and you will not run out of protector!

Half as bad... he got a tile floor. At least he'll have a base where to rebuid from

seriously, get a UPS. I have an APC 725, has like 8 outlets, and two of the eight are for the "power block" transformers. this way you also get blackout protection in addition to surge protection!
