How do you remove the annoying service provider text?
Right now it says:
Fido
Fido
and it's covering up my background!
I remember with my old nokia phones I was able to put my own message.

Very simple. Simply download the "transparent logo" and set it to be your logo.
Check the "Siemens Goodies" stickie.

I thought the logo is that big FIDO logo that you see whenever you turn on/off the phone?

Well yea that's a logo too.
But in the phone's settings, a "logo" picture will replace the text to go ontop of your wallpaper. That's why you can't see you picture. So if you put a "transparent logo" picture "on top" of your wallpaper, it will be like nothing's there.
