i think i remember seeing it before but i couldnt find it with search, so can someone please post the hex values to edit to enable le mode with a 1a codeplug. i cant get the cp patcher to work so i'd rather do it manually. thanks in advance

The 1A cp can't be hacked manually. Thats why the patcher was written.

If you want to do it by hand then you'll need to get NexVision to downgrade your codeplug to version 19 and use RSS 1.15.02 to save it off the phone.

What problem are you having with the patcher? I use it all the time and don't have any troubles...

ok this is what happens when i use the patcher. it'll load the cp into rss and i'll click yes to "modify the codeplug?". then it'll say ok save the cp and close rss so i do that. then when i open rss again i look at the cp and the carrier string and t9 string are still the same. if i upload that cp to the phone there's no difference.

i'm using carrier rss version R01.15.04

You may have done this already, but try doing it exactly like this...

1. Load RSS
2. Read the phone.
3. Save the CP (CP1.dbf)
4. Exit RSS (very important)
5. Run the patcher
6. Select CP1.dbf and make any mods you want.
7. Hit Patch
8. Cick OK to mod the CP
9. Click OK when it tells you to save the CP.
10. IMPORTANT! Save the CP with a new name (like CP1_Mod.dbf)

At this point you should be able to check the strings (no need to close and re-open the CP or exit RSS unless you are going to do another one right away).

If that does not work, let me know.

alright i dont know what the problem is. i follow those steps exactly and it still makes no changes in the cp. right after step 8, i click ok and it doesnt change the strings in rss. i tried saving w/ a new filename still nothing. then i tried using the filenames you use. that didnt work. is there a way to enable LE mode in depot rss?
