Guys,

I was wondering if anyone has seen a fitted ready case for the above phone. I have the Sprint leather case and I do like it BUT it does block the video light and I was hoping the Body glove ION case might make a appearance!!!

I have been searching for another case besides the Sprint one as well but have had no luck so far.

I'm not sure what you mean by "it blocks the video light." Do you mean the flashing LED on front? If so, my Sprint case does not cover this.

To be fair it blocks just the lower forth. I am really looking for a thinner fitted case like the Body Glove ION. I had one with my ole 5300 and loved it!

Radioshack has them now... My store jsut got them today. stock number is 17-399. price is 29.99. Im real particulkar about cases (I H A T E the racheting detachable cliup things.. they stick out WAY to far for my liking.) this one thoug is a very slim profile. Its a nice case all things considered. I actually bought it.

I bought the one from Radio Shack last week. It's pretty much identical to the one Sprint sells except the leather is softer and it has white stitching.

Yeah, the cases from Eforcity.com look cool but how good can they be for $8.

The WHITE STITCHING in the case makes it look tachy in MHO.
Too bad as the calfskin leather is nice.

the one with the white stitching is for the RL2500. the one for the VM4500 is all black. If someone told you otherwise they were misinformed.

The one with the white stictching for the RL2500 fits the VM4500 perfectly.

I didn't see the white stitching on the VM4500 case we got in, but I did see it on the RL2500 case... that looks absolutely disgusting!

Just to clarify.

Radio Shack does now have an ALL BLACK case for the VM4500.

They also have a case which is black with white stitching. This case is desgined for the RL2500. This case does fit the VM4500 however the camera lens in covered.

I like the white stitching. Makes it look different than every other plain old black leather case out there.

Anyone else have this problem: the black leather case Sprint sells (with the two metal snaps on the back) makes it virtually impossible to open the rubber flap/cover over the 2.5" jack on the side of the phone! This is a huge hassle for me, because when I'm driving and I want to attach my hands-free earpiece I first have to remove half of the case to get the plug in.

Any solutions? Am I missing something or is this just a really stupid design flaw with this case?

kmode, I've noticed this to be true with all the Sanyo phones. If you use a case with one it's very difficult to access the headset hole.

I agree with you on the look. I bought the RL2500 as well BUT I will purchase the VM4500 when it comes out.

I like the RL2500 one for work. They do not like camera phones where I work so that case HIDES the camera features.

Thanks green -- at least now I know I'm not just missing something obvious.

Guess it's time to get out my xacto knife and open the headset hole up a little.

i just recieved my direct ordered radio shack case and it is the best case so far for the phone in my opinion. i could not find it in the store so i had a employee direct ship it to me. 17-399 is the sku.
