I just bought a cable for the i730.
I download and did ever thing from the IDEN site.
Nothing is working it cant find the phone.
I have windows XP i read alot of differnt Threads in this forum. I didnt seem to find my answer.
Could someone help me out with this problem, I really dont want a cable and not be able to use it.

if you have a usb, make sure you have XP service pack 1 installed, plus the usb drivers and usb fixes.

if you have a serial, check your com and phone settings.

Thanx gerbs.
Another problem had to show.
When it trys to program the phone it tells me that either a app is being run or installed and i am not even doing anything to the phone.
If you know why its doing this it would be a big help for me to get it fixed.

Sounds like you have java apps suspended. Can't do that and get the phone into programming mode - memory state for the app is being saved, and programming would toast that.

Ya i got them to stop but as always there seems to be another problem.
I got everything to work got the upgrade and everything. was happy until I couldnt figure out how to download my midis onto my phone. I went to the IDEN site and as I guess you know, you have to pay.
So how would I go by getting the MIDIs and WAVs I have onto my phone?
