Anyone know how to sync the M55 with Outlook 2003?
Says not supported? My old Motorola Software just allowed it to work from 2000 to 2003 no cliches>

I get the same error saying that version of Outlook is not supported with my MS Outlook 2003. I'll try making outlook express default and see if that helps. Otherwise wait for next version of siemens data suite.

I've gotten Outlook 2003 to sync with My siemens M55 finally thanks to a little searching on the web. Now my only problem is when i create an event on the phone say for 11am it shows up as 10am on my outlook. My time date and timezone is correct on my computer. On the phone the time is correct but the time zone was originally halifax and that was making the appointments a few hours apart. So then I chose los angelos timezone since we share the same time zone but still the appointments are off.
Any help appreciated.

Steps to Get outlook 2003 working with your siemens phone. (basically this just added to your registry to trick siemens into thinking the older outlook exists)

1. open notepad and copy and paste the text below into it.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Outlook.Application.10]
@="Microsoft Outlook 10.0 Object Library"

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Outlook.Application.10\CLSID]
@="{0006F03A-0000-0000-C000-000000000046}"

2. Now save this file as siemens.reg and save it to your desktop or where ever you'd like
3. On your desktop or where ever you saved it to right click on the file and choose "merge" and say yes

Your all set.
