I tried a code that i found in another forum (##7738 end) for a audiovox 8500 with virgin and a menu comes up saying (P_Rev 6) (P_REV 4) and(P_REV 3) the default is P_REV 6 and when you change it the 1X symbol goes to a D (digital) symbol. Dose anybody know what this is?

P_REV is the protocol revision.
6 = cdma2000 1x, the lower values are IS95 and some others.

There is no advantage to modfying this value; its just another backdoor for testing purposes only.
