the alpha tag on the 7210 is broadcasted over the network or read off the sim card then displayed on the phone screen. What you could do, is send a blank logo to yourself via SMS, or download a blank logo via WAP to your phone, and set it as the op logo. That would eliminate it completely. Do a search on here for transparent op logo.
